MADISON, Wis. — Outgoing UW Chancellor John Wiley was honored on Monday night for his many years of service to the university.
The UW hosted the event at the Overture Center complete with music, drama and dance performances.
But Wiley said the event was more about the university.
“I feel great,” said Wiley. “I’ve actually been sent off for a couple of weeks now, and honestly despite all of the hoop-la over this being a send off event, this is the third in the series of events we have for our students to let the community see how terrific our performing arts students are.”
