W-Madison is creating a new violence prevention position in its Greek life office in response to recent reports alleging hazing, drugging and sexual assaults at fraternity houses, the university announced Thursday.
Last month, Madison police arrested two fraternity leaders for allegedly hazing about 30 pledges in a basement. Days after the arrests, the university disclosed that two people had reported alleged drugging and sexual assaults at off-campus fraternity houses.
