Cause of death revealed for former Wisconsin football player who died at 24

The cause of death has been revealed for former University of Wisconsin tight end Jack Pugh, who died March 30 at age 24.

Pugh died of acute bronchopneumonia, according to a report from the Franklin County (Ohio) Coroner’s Office obtained by People.

Acute bronchopneumonia is a type of pneumonia that inflames the lungs and has symptoms including fever, cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, sweating, chills and more, according to Healthline.
