Hot, dry July hitting farmers as parts of Wisconsin in drought

“I know they’re getting some really beneficial rain in the eastern part of the state today,” said James Otkin, a drought expert at UW-Madison. “But for us here in Dane County, it’s been another hot, dry week. And generally speaking, it’s been pretty much dry across much of the state again.”
