Madison Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and community members marched to Madison Municipal Building Oct. 20 to protest the proposed firing of Interim Independent Police Monitor (IIM) Aeriamique Glass and demand accountability for Kiel Baitinger-Peterson, the Madison police officer who shot Corey Ruiz in July. The march preceded a 12-hour Common Council meeting that ended with Glass’s termination.
