Universities of Wisconsin system schools saw a drop in international student enrollment for the first time in three years, reflecting a nationwide trend driven by tighter federal visa policies.
The UW System enrolled an estimated 163,260 students this fall. That number is down 1732 students from last year, 1100 being international students, according to system counts.
