The colorful chairs overlooking Lake Mendota are saying goodbye for another season, marking the end of one of Madison’s most recognizable traditions.
The Wisconsin Union will begin removing approximately 2,000 yellow, green and orange sunburst chairs from the Memorial Union Terrace on Monday, October 26, bringing the 2026 Terrace season to a close.
