The 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics has gone to a neutrino detector in Antarctica

The Nobel Prize in physics was awarded today to a man with a dream. Francis Halzen at the University of Wisconsin-Madison wanted to build an observatory under Antarctica. And as he told the Nobel committee, in the beginning, there were a lot of skeptics.
