University of Wisconsin-Madison Police say a video an animal rights activist claimed he secretly recorded inside the university’s Meat Science facility appears to have been fabricated using publicly available footage.
Ryan Blum, a recent UW–Madison graduate, told WMTV in September that he secretly entered the Meat Science & Animal Biologics Discovery Building after months of planning and recorded pigs undergoing carbon dioxide stunning.
