UW-Madison’s plan to construct two new dorms is moving forward, but still needs the state’s approval.
The UW Board of Regents approved the student housing proposal at a special meeting on Monday, which calls for the building of two new dorms with a total of 1,700 beds by fall 2029 through an agreement with a private developer.
